Elysian styled elopement at the High Court and on Signal Hill in Cape Town
NOVEMBER | CAPE TOWN HIGH COURT & SIGNAL HILL
Cape Town is unarguably South Africa’s best city for elopements. There is no shortage of beautiful locations waiting to be used as a backdrop for your special day. Myself and some friends wanted to show everyone why we believe this to be true. So, we all participated in a styled shoot. This is when photographers host a make-believe wedding to get photos in a stress-free space. It helps people image what their wedding or elopement might look like.
The elopement started outside Cape Town’s High court and then moved to Signal Hill. It featured a vintage car, beautiful flowers, gorgeous dresses and a whole lot of fun. We made it look like the models got married in court, jumped into a fancy car and then go up to the mountain for the sunset. I got some beautiful images, and I’ve curated them into a gallery. I took digital image, while Josie captured 35mm film. Below are some of them for you to see.
