Nico and Jess’ Incredible Wedding at Shepstone Gardens

Jess and Nico’s wedding at Shepstone Gardens felt like fairytale come true.
Everything felt like it had come from a storybook, with its glass-ceiling stone chapel to the flower-filled dining area. Jess got ready in a tall medeval tower while Nico waited with the boys in Shepstone’s library. They were both so relaxed and calm, showing how strong their relationship is. One touching moment was when Jess’ mom helped her put on her last few pieces of jewellery. Those gentle and kind final touches communicated so much love between mother and daughter.
A light and easy spirit filled the rest of the day. If it wasn’t for the beautiful view of the city skyline, you would have never guessed you were in busy Joberg. Interestingly, the wedding venue space at Shepstone Gardens was designed with this in mind. It’s built into the side of a hill outside the city, making it feel enchantingly detached from busyness just beyond its high trees.
The wedding day ended with dancing and dessert. It was a sweet and happy finish. Another moment that stood out was when Nico’s daughter joined them for their first dance. It was such a touching moment that I almost forgot to take photos. Everyone stood watching and crying tears of joy.

I have nothing but blessing and good wishes for your marriage and family. I got to be part of your engagement, and I’ve known your family for a while from church, so I feel connected to your story as a friend, not just as a service provider. I hope we get to hangout again sometime in the future.
