Wedding Photography Packages

Wedding photography packages include digital, film and prints and start from R14 500. However, couples invest an average of R21 000 with me on their wedding imagery. Because every wedding is unique, I love working with couples to tailor exactly what they need or do not need in a package. Please reach out to me to begin discussing your personal wants and options. Packages for more than a wedding day

Weddings are far broader than a single climactic day – and so the wedding photography packages need to take this into account.

The need for memory documentation begins long before a wedding day, and often with an engagement. In some of the wedding photography packages, I include a couple shoot to curate engagement imagery or to get comfortable in front of the camera.

Please let me know if this is or is not important to you, or if you are just looking for an engagement shoot for now. I ask R1500 for these types of couple shoots.

Love-story shoots take a more cinematic approach to your photography session. It is my favorite way to tell your story. Together we storyboard your relationship into three scenes and artfully capture its dynamics. You can find an example here. These shoots run for a little longer and often require props, so I ask for R2500.

If you’re having a more intimate or shorter wedding celebration, please reach out to me directly and let me know. I am more than happy to build a wedding photography package that matches your needs.

My normal route for these types of weddings involves billing per hour for digital photography and then adding any additional requests on top, such as film or prints.

I ask for R2500 per hour, with a minimum of 2 hours.

Where there is a celebration of love, I am willing to document. In particular, I’ve loved shooting Nikka’s over the last few years. My services for your celebration remain the same. I just ask that you describe what’s happening for your special day when you reach out to me so that I know how to prepare and meet your expectations.

While I do not offer videography and wedding films, I do have many relationships with some of the most talented people in the wedding industry. Depending on availability, some of these vendors will also offer you a package discount if you book us together. Please mention this if it is needed when you reach out to me.

I am more than happy to make arrangements to document your wedding if you are celebrating over multiple days or outside of Cape Town. Together, we will build a tailored package for you that includes what services are needed from me as well as an inclusive travel fee. I approach these arrangements and packages with flexibility, so please do not hesitate to reach out.

Once you reach out, I will get back to you on the same day with answers to any of your questions and requests. I will most likely invite you to a no-obligation video call to discuss your wedding photography package needs, and also give you a chance to see if we connect. Developing a personal relationship and trust with my couples is intrinsic to my approach as a curator.

From there, I will give you some package options based on our discussions. Once you’ve chosen your package, I will send you an invoice and a contract. I will also ask you for a 50% booking fee to secure your date.

My wedding photography packages are very flexible and I much prefer building packages for each couple.

You do not need film, prints or even digital! But they are nice to have and I like offering them as a standard. Please discuss them and anything else you might need with me when we talk.

I ask for 50% of your full payment as a booking fee.

The remaining 50% is only due once your full gallery is ready for delivery. You have the freedom to pay the remaining amount in either installments or all at once.

Several payment methods are available to you, including EFT, credit card and Snapscan. I can also recieve international payments.

Film photography is a lost art being revived as a wedding luxury. I have a whole blog on it here.

Full wedding gallery turn around is 8-10 weeks. This is industry standard in South Africa, however I always aim to get your images to you ASAP. I will also send you a “glimpse” (also known as a sneak peek) of 10-15 images within 36 hours of your wedding.

I take an average of 2500 images at a wedding and I inspect each one during processing. I select, colour-correct and photoshop the best, most emotion-filled images and deliver them to you. It is in your best interest that I work through your images slowly and with an eye for detail.

*Would you like your gallery sooner? I can include a priority fee of R3500 in your package, turn down other work and have your gallery to you within 7 working days.

Client experience is important to me, and so I use an online, professional gallery delivery service called Pic-time.

Pic-time helps me store and deliver your images in a beautiful gallery. Imagine Google drive but easier to use and much nicer looking. It also has privacy built in for your protection, AI tools for image filtering and an online store that I use for your print orders.

As a standard, I offer physical prints in 10x15cms and 15×22.5cm, framed images and A4 photobooks. But in short, I can offer any kind print you’re lorking for from canvas to metal and more.

I have sourced the best independant print labs in Cape Town and work directly with them to offer the best quality prints. These prints will be delivered to you at no cost if you are in South Africa.

Having a second shooter has become an industry standard for weddings. I personally think it is a non-essential luxury but a fantastic add-on for getting unique imagery.

Essentially, I hire an additional photographer to capture additional angles during your wedding. I mostly work with Josie Stadler – a fellow professional photographer and my partner. If Josie is not available, then I will work with another professional wedding photographer who I trust and know personally.

Absolutely! I love working with a team. Please put me in touch with your other vendors so we can work together. I especailly love working with wedding coordinators and videographers.

I can definately give input, especially if you want to orientate your day around the best photo oppertunities. I attend weddings for a living and I am more than happy to give advice. But, I cannot plan your wedding for you.

In short – no. But that doesn’t mean I have solutions for you. I have package deals with certain videographers, so please let me know this is something important to you.

Wherever there is love, I am willing to go. I love Garden route weddings and anywhere in Europe.

The first 80km from Cape Town in included in your price already. If you are further than that, please let me know when inquiring. I will discuss with you an all-inclusive travel fee based on what arragements need to be made.
