I’m Damian and I’m a wedding photographer from Cape Town. Over the last few years, I’ve come to believe that wedding photography is best approached as a curator. By this I mean I put your wedding experiece first – the connection, the fun, the sacredness, the happy tears, the family moments. It’s when you’re free to enjoy these parts of your wedding that I can capture and reflect back to you something real. I’m there to guide you into being present.
In practice, I do this intentionally by focusing on the authentic. I shoot with a hybrid of digital and film photography mediums for the best and most tangible quality. The result is wedding imgery that is alive with both editorial and documentory elements. Every package is built around this experience.
